When I read this scripture if I'm honest ... My eyes roll in the back of my head a little. Ugh. Why? Pure joy? Really? Because I have a hard time understanding why I should consider it joy to go through junk.
Liv says, maybe it means that because it is growing us in our faith and who we are. That it is making us stronger.
I think she's on to something. While we don't jump up and down and say "yah this is so great!" We do have a steadfast knowledge that tells us , if I doesn't destroy us , it develops us, it makes us , it grows us. Yes, it can even change us, but let it be ....no matter what that God gets glory for all He does and who He is.
